Nurulhuda Aziz, otherwise known as Shaz, is a chef with an uncontainable passion for cooking. After trying her hand at different careers, she decided to give her favourite past-time a chance and turn it into a business, Stewlang with Shaz. Recalling her mother as her inspiration, motivator and biggest critic, Shaz began cooking at age 15 and loves spending time in the kitchen creating new recipes.
Though she specialises in local Singaporean, Malay and Halal cooking, she loves experimenting with food and is constantly looking to push the boundaries of cuisines with new flavours and techniques. Strictly sticking to a NO food colouring, MSG or instant mix policy, she incorporates fusion elements in simple recipes and creates delicious, vibrant dishes that you cannot resist.
